Here’s my story… what’s yours?

Barry Manilow may write the songs, but I write everything else. Feature articles for magazines and newspapers, web content, travelogues, restaurant reviews, ad copy, sponsored content, press releases, speeches, marketing materials, blogs, resumes, screenplays, grocery lists — you name it, I’ve written it.

Based in Indianapolis, I’ve been a  freelance writer and editor for more than a decade. Check out the “Clients” tab above if you’d like to see a list of people I’ve worked for through the years. I’ve held full-time positions producing custom publications for the Indianapolis Star and the Chicago Tribune/Chicagoland Publishing, and I spent two years in Los Angeles pursuing a screenwriting career. (My “Then Comes Marriage” feature comedy/drama has been optioned and won an honorable mention in the Writer’s Digest Writing Competition.)

Food and travel are my passions, and I enjoy documenting my adventures along those lines at www.breakfastlynchdinner.wordpress.com. I’m currently Active Vice President of the Midwest Travel Journalists Association, a blogger for several national and regional tourism web sites, and I’ve been featured on Little Indiana.com and Urbanspoon.com.

So what’s in all this for you? Quite simply, I’m an experienced professional writer and editor who can help you effectively communicate with your readers, clients and customers in a succinct, yet creatively compelling way. Interested in discussing your written-word needs? Click on my “Contact” page above to find out how to reach me. If you’ve got a tale to tell, I can help.
